ABOUT OUR HONEY

What makes Wildroot Honey different from grocery store honey? Most honey on a grocery shelf has been heavily processed — heated, filtered, and blended to the point where the flavor and nutrition that make honey worth eating have been stripped out. Wildroot honey is small-batch, made with real ingredients, and crafted with the kind of attention that a large producer simply can't afford to give. You'll taste the difference in the first spoonful.

What does "small-batch" actually mean? It means we make our honey in small, controlled runs — not hundreds of thousands of units at a time. Small-batch production lets us pay attention: to the ingredients, the texture, the flavor, and the quality of every jar that leaves our hands. It also means what you're getting is genuinely crafted, not just packaged.

Is your honey raw? Yes. Our honey is raw, meaning it hasn't been subjected to the high heat that destroys natural enzymes, antioxidants, and flavor. We handle it carefully from start to finish so it arrives to you as close to its natural state as possible — just with something beautiful added to it.

What ingredients do you use in your infused honeys? Real ones. We use raw honey as our base and infuse it with natural ingredients — no artificial flavors, no high-fructose corn syrup, no shortcuts. What you read on the label is what's in the jar. That's the only standard we hold ourselves to.

Do you source local honey? We're based in Northwest Indiana and are committed to working with quality honey sources. If you have questions about sourcing for a specific product, reach out — we're happy to talk through it.

OUR PRODUCTS

What's the difference between infused honey and creamed honey? Great question — they're different in both texture and purpose. Infused honey is raw honey that's been steeped with natural flavors like lavender lemon, vanilla, orange, or almond. It pours like traditional honey and drizzles beautifully. Creamed honey is raw honey that's been slowly churned to create a smooth, spreadable texture — think thick, luxurious, and not a drip in sight. It's incredible on toast, on a charcuterie board, or straight off the spoon. Both are made with real ingredients. Both are worth trying.

What are Wildroot Pours? Wildroot Pours are our line of honey-based cocktail syrups — and they're probably our most distinctive product. They're designed to replace the cheap, corn-syrup-laden mixers that most people are still using and deserve to upgrade. Made with real honey and thoughtfully sourced ingredients, they work in cocktails, mocktails, and sparkling water. Three flavors at launch: Harvest Sol (margarita-inspired), Bee's Knees (classic honey-lemon), and Berry & Bloom (fruity and floral). Your bar cart will thank you.

How do I use Wildroot Pours if I don't drink alcohol? They're excellent without it. Try Bee's Knees with sparkling water and a squeeze of lemon for a refresher that tastes like a real drink. Berry & Bloom over ice with soda water and fresh mint is a summer afternoon in a glass. Harvest Sol with sparkling water and lime is bright and citrusy without a drop of tequila. The syrups are designed to taste good — the spirit is optional.

Do your products contain any common allergens? Our almond-infused honey contains tree nuts. If you have specific allergy concerns, please read product labels carefully and feel free to reach out before ordering — we'd rather you have the full picture.

How long does your honey last? Honey has an essentially indefinite shelf life when stored properly. We recommend keeping your jar at room temperature, away from direct sunlight, and with the lid tightly closed. If your honey crystallizes over time, that's a sign it's real — just warm the jar gently in a bowl of warm water and it will return to its original consistency. Never microwave it directly.

How should I store Wildroot Pours syrups? Refrigerate after opening and use within 4–6 weeks for best flavor. The bottle will tell you everything you need to know — but they rarely last that long once you've started using them.

ORDERING & SHIPPING

Do you ship nationwide? Yes. We ship across the contiguous United States. Whether you're around the corner from us in Northwest Indiana or across the country, we'll get your order to you.

How long will it take to receive my order? Most orders ship within 2–3 business days. Shipping time after that depends on your location, but most customers receive their orders within 5–7 business days from order date. You'll receive a tracking number when your order ships.

My honey arrived crystallized. Is something wrong? Nothing is wrong — crystallization is actually a sign of real, quality honey. It's a completely natural process and doesn't affect flavor or safety at all. To return it to a liquid state, place the jar in a bowl of warm (not boiling) water for 15–20 minutes and stir gently. It'll be back to normal in no time.

Can I buy Wildroot products in person? Yes — we sell at select specialty markets in Northwest Indiana. Follow us on Instagram @wildroothoney for updated market dates and locations. We'd love to meet you in person and let you taste before you commit.

GIFTING

Are Wildroot products good for gifting? Gifting is genuinely baked into everything we do — from the way we design our packaging to the price points we chose. A jar of Wildroot honey is the kind of gift that looks expensive, feels personal, and actually gets used. It works for housewarmings, host gifts, client appreciation, holidays, and anyone who deserves something a little more thoughtful than a candle.

Do you offer gift sets or custom packaging? Yes. We offer curated gift sets and can accommodate larger orders for corporate gifting, events, and wholesale. If you're looking for something custom — private label, branded packaging, or a specific quantity — reach out directly and we'll put something together for you.

Do you offer bulk or wholesale pricing? We do. Whether you're a boutique, a corporate buyer, or a realtor who gifts to clients, we have pricing tiers that make sense for your volume. Head to our B2B page or contact us directly — we respond within 24 hours.
